You Are Welcome Here
Before anything else, we want you to know this: God loves you. He created you out of love, knows you by name, and desires to share His own divine life with you. Whatever your story—whether you are a lifelong Catholic, have been away from the Church, are searching for faith, or have never encountered Jesus Christ—you are welcome here.
The world often leaves us restless, burdened, and longing for something more. The celebrated Christian author and thinker C.S. Lewis famously observed, "If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world." But the reality is, there are forces at work to keep us from living as we were created and intended to live. Sin wounds our relationship with God, with one another, and even with ourselves. And there is a very real enemy at work who desires and delights in our failure, even our death and destruction—whatever it takes to keep us out of relationship with the God who created us in love and in His image and likeness.
But God did not abandon us. In His great mercy, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, who gave His life on the Cross and rose from the dead—defeating death forever—so that we might be forgiven, healed, and share in His eternal, divine life. God became man; He took on our flesh and He died our death so that we may live His life.
This is the Good News: Jesus Christ is alive! He is not simply a figure from history or a teacher of the past. He is the risen Lord who seeks you today. He invites you to turn toward Him, to trust in His mercy, and to receive the new life He offers through His Church.
The Church exists to help people encounter Jesus Christ. Through the proclamation of God’s Word, the celebration of the sacraments—especially the Holy Eucharist—the fellowship of the Christian community, and the mission of serving others, we seek to become joyful disciples who make disciples.
Perhaps God has led you here for a reason. If you are searching, come and see. If you are weary, come and find rest. If you have questions, come and ask them. If you have been away from the Church, come home. Christ is waiting for you with open arms. We invite you to worship with us, to pray with us, and to discover the transforming love of Jesus Christ. Together, let us walk the path of discipleship, led by the Holy Spirit, nourished and united by the sacraments in the communion of the Church.
